I have never done a boudoir photography session before. What should I expect?

I want you to know, that you are in good hands! My wife, my hair and makeup artist, and I will do all we can to give you the best experience you can possibly have! You should expect a very laid back atmosphere, candles and a bottle of Champagne!

Question 2

I need to lose 20lbs before doing a boudoir shoot. Is that ok?

Accepted Answer

If I had a penny for every time I’ve heard this! Boudoir is not about getting into an acceptable form. Boudoir is about celebrating YOU, regardless of your weight. You are beautiful whether you lose 20lbs, or gain 20lbs. We can prove that to you!

Question 3

The price is a little over my budget right now. Do you have a price plan?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — we don’t want price to get in the way of indulging yourself! We can discuss a payment plan that suits your needs and budget. Your images will be delivered upon receipt of final payment.

Question 4

What should I wear? I have don’t have fancy lingerie suitable for boudoir.

Accepted Answer

We would be happy to make recommendations. But, ultimately, you’ll want to wear whatever you’re comfortable in, without being afraid of pushing the envelope a bit.

Question 5

How long will a boudoir session last?

Accepted Answer

Our session of photography is 2 hours. You will also need to take into account 1 hour and a half for hair and makeup. 2 hours for reveal and album design.

Question 6

Can I bring a friend for support?

Accepted Answer

I think that this is a very personal experience. We do not recommend bringing a friend along. But if you really, really had to, they must not interfere with the shoot or directions.

I don’t know how to pose. Will you be able to help?

Accepted Answer

We will coach you and instruct you on how to pose and before you know it, you’ll be a pro! My wife and I will even demonstrate the poses as needed.
